Just What n Who is A Friend.................................?

I promised to expound later of what my understanding of a friend i but didn't owing to the fact that my hometown is ablaze with heckling,chants and all sorts of noises that you are likely to hear when you are in the elctioneering period-what with the demise of our member of parliament!Elections are funny back here where you get to see of people you had not even the slightest of ideas they would vie for public office!Sounds funny uh!Its like some f this countries you get to hear of every other world cup tournament and once its over the go safemode or diffrently put they hibernate!Talk of courageous fools and you need no more explanation!

Mmmmmmmmmh i kind of got carried away with the elections but anyway lets get it on!What is a friend?First definition which is academic anyway is -A person other than a family member, spouse or lover whose company one enjoys and towards whom one feels affection!- orA boyfriend or girlfriend!Another plausible academic definition would be An associate who provides assistance or A person with whom you are acquainted!The other could as well be A person who backs something or Used as a form of address when warning someone.

The definitions are endless coz i may go on n on indefinetely!I have been recently studying what friends are but i have been baffled what i have been getting lately!Well i have experiences or an hands on experience with them!I will expound on that in the later stages of the blog but let me categorically state here that there is no such thing as friendship!Whomever we fancy as a friend are some idiots who are the worst kind of a thing one can entertain!Why do i say this,ever had a problem that needed some pooling of efforts and seen who helped you achieve your goal,or overcome you trials and tribulations?Its strangers that always help you and or at times encourage you!Guys that you hardly take seriously or even those that you despise in life!

Let me address this bastards we call friends!I gave you all their descriptons etal!There i no where they have said that it is someone who can help you in time of need!I am not saying either that you must always seek help,but this days as society stands you cant be a master in all trades in that you cant exist predominantly needing no help at anygiven time!Your car could stall and you will need a hand or some sort of assistance at one point or the other!That aside we have come to regard people that saw us through the rainy season as friends while all they did was understand us and gave a hand in anticipation you could understand them as well or some other person not neccesarily them!Whoever understands you as a person is more readily available to you when you are in need than whoever you call a friend!

There is what i call modern day prostitution which unfortunately borders on both men and women alike!Unlike the stereotypical alutions that women are the only prostitutes that nature giveth us we have become all prostitutes!This are guys masquarading as friends of every other who is who in town for favours from you,all they want is use you dump you and start haemoraging all in town about you forggeting how usefull you have been to them and how useless they have been to you!They will come and tell you about your friend harry and go tell harry about you just for favours and i cant help but wonder how else can we or one define prostitution per se!Honestly i shudder at the thought of what i used to regard as friends and the sooner had i realised the better but is never too late for anything goodanyway!And this is the calibre of people we call friends shame on us all!Let me give you the kind of people whom you regard as friends:-

1.That who calls you when he or she knows your payslip went through!
2.That that nags you for drinks and never bothers to buy even water in the pub!
3.That that is stingy even when circumstance demands that he/she should let up!
4.That that tells you about others!
5.That that tells you to spend he/she will reimburse you!
6.That who never declares his/wealth.
7.That that switches clubs without notice and stays or drinks alone when he or she is loaded on some flimsy excuses!


Those are just to mention but afew and in a nutshell friends are like a peron that lend you a umbrella in fair weather only to take it during the rainy season!If you must have one kindly avoid the above types !
